McGoff & Vickers Fire & Security

The general construction market has suffered more than most sectors during the global economic downturn, as a result, and to allow us to continue delivering the high quality service our customers in the North West have grown to expect, a decision was made to restructure the business.

We ceased trading out of our Bunhill Row office in May and sought new commercial partners to invest in the North West and further enhance our service & maintenance capacity, concentrating on our specialist installation services of Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Nurse Call Systems, and Data Cabling.

We have formulated a new company structure to optimise our good name in the region and to maintain the excellent business experience that you have come to expect from us. To that end I am pleased to announce that Mango-5 Maintenance Limited has acquired 100% of the shares of McGoff & Vickers (Fire & Security Systems) Ltd along with the trading name, assets, and contracts of both McGoff & Vickers (Building Services) and Speci-Fire (Fire Alarm Installation). This new partnership will secure jobs in the region and promote excellence in training and customer service for years to come.

The key staff looking after your business will remain largely unchanged and we look to enhance the workforce over the coming weeks to ensure all our targets and key performance indicators continue to be met, while we grow our now specialist company.
